Goodread Synopsis: What if you could miraculously wake up tomorrow and any—or every area of your life was transformed? What would be different? Would you be happier? Healthier? More successful? In better shape? Would you have more energy? Less Stress? More Money? Better relationships? Which of your problems would be solved?

What if I told you that there is a “not-so-obvious” secret that is guaranteed to transform any—or literally every area of your life, faster than you ever thought possible? What if I told you it would only take 6 minutes a day?

Enter The Miracle Morning. What’s now being practiced by thousands of people around the world could perhaps be the simplest approach to creating the life you’ve always wanted. It’s been right there in front of us, but this book has finally brought it to life.

Are you ready? The next chapter of your life—the most extraordinary life you’ve ever imagined—is about to begin.

YOU DESERVE AN EXTRAORDINARY LIFE. IT’S TIME TO WAKE UP TO YOUR FULL POTENTIAL

My Thoughts: I read this book at the suggestion of a mutual childhood friend of Neko and I.  The idea of this book is you need to start your day right in order to have a successful day which I completely agree with.  It’s also less suggested in here but ending your day right helps you set up your day correctly.

The other thing that stood out with this book is that instead of doing just one thing in the morning is that the idea is to actually do several things in small amounts to help get the benefits of all things.  You start with waking up an hour early and do the following things and can add things that you want as well:

  • Silence
  • Affirmations
  • Visualization
  • Exercise
  • Reading
  • Scribing

Also known as Life Savers.  I think anyone who has listened to a motivational talk or read a self help book of any kind has heard at least one of the above if not all, his suggestions is even a little bit counts.  I think the idea being that you’ll build up the habit, enjoy the work and add on later.

I personally do think I agree with the above, I think a lot of this as you add it into your life in a small amount you’ll take the time to find ways to add the ones that you feel impact you the most in larger amounts either in the morning or throughout the day.  Like for myself reading is already a thing, I’ll probably pick something a bit harder or reflective to read in the mornings so I can take the day to reflect on it before adding to it.  Journaling I’ve always struggled with so only committing 10 minutes actually helps take the pressure off.  You get the idea.

Next steps for me are to take this and actually act on it.  I’m going to start Monday with these 6 things and then in 30 days I want to add a few other items.

Has anyone else read this book?  What were your thoughts?
