Thanks Becky for the tag!
1. What was the last book you marked as “Read?”
Kylana: The Power of Persuasion by Robert Levine. It was good, disturbing but good! Some of the studies that he talks about in this book were horrifying, especially with everything that’s going on politically. Review coming soon.
Neko: Frost Burned by Patricia Briggs. One of my favorite in the series! Yeah, I need to get these reviews up sometime!!
2. What was the last book you marked as TBR?
Kylana: Lying Out Loud by Kody Keplinger. It just seems interesting 🙂 I also added The Duff. I read one of her other books and it was decent so I’m curious to see if her other books are enjoyable.
Neko: Eternal Lover. It has a short story in the Georgina Kincaid universe so… I like short stories!
3. What book do you plan to read next?
Kylana: Honestly. I have nooo idea. Maybe Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst. I’ve been trying to read it for a while but haven’t yet. I’m pet sitting and brought it with. Maybe once it cools down (it’s 95 here!).
Neko: After I finish Dead Heat I am onto the graphic novel Hopcross Jilly. So close to finishing the Mercyverse, can’t wait to reach Silence Fallen since I haven’t cracked that one open yet.
4. Do you use the star rating system?
Kylana: I do! I agree it’s easier then trying to come up with something else.
Neko: I use paws to rate, but same scale yup!
5. Are you doing the 2017 Reading Challenge?
Kylana: I am! I actually already met my goal for the year (whoops!). Now I’m trying to double it which is looking very probable. Not changing it on Goodreads though.
Neko: Yup, and I hit my goal back in February or March so I upped it 120. Yeah, that will be hit pretty soon too…
6. Do you have a wishlist?
Kylana: I guess I treat my TBR like a wishlist. I have a tbr-owned category so I know what I already own.
Neko: Yes! Beyond my TBR, I also write down titles I want… It is a sickness but I really don’t mind =^_^=
7. Which book do you plan on buying next?
Kylana: I’m not sure but I do have tentative plans to go shopping soon 🙂 Whatever catches my eye I guess.
Neko: Kappa by Ryunosuke Akutagawa! Ran across it while looking for mythology books for my blind date. Sounds awesome!!
8. Do you have any favorite quotes? Share a few.
Kylana: I do but it’s not from a book. “Forget regret or life is yours to miss” you win points if you know what it’s from.
Neko: “Quoth the Raven ‘Nevermore'”.
9. Who are your favorite authors?
Kylana: SO MANY!!! I’ve added a bunch this year so I’ll stick with ones I’ve had for a long time. Mercedes Lackey, Tamora Pierce, Patricia Briggs, JRR Tolkien to name a few.
Neko: Patricia Briggs, Mercedes Lackey, Elizabeth Weir, Poe, John Connolly, etc… Wayyyy too many to be honest.
10. Have you joined any groups?
Kylana: I have but I haven’t really paid attention to them. I prefer my facebook book groups. My favorite being the wonderful Blind Date With a Book. It’s great! Check it out if your looking for a group full of fun and shenanigans. Everyone should join, it’s amazing ❤
Neko: One but I’m not active in it. Bad Neko… More active on the same facebook group.
That’s it! Thanks for reading. Now onto the tags. Feel free to ignore, especially if you’ve already done it. 🙂
Always looking for a good book group 🙂 Thanks for the great read!

Loved reading your answers to this tag! I will defintily have to check out Blind Date with a Book. I also almost listed a quote from Rent as a favorite lol. I already listed too many though so I though it might be overkill lol. Love that quote along with the generic, “No day but today”
