Today we bring you Lost in a Story’s meme Down the TBR Hole! Where you bring up your Goodreads list, order your books in ascending by date added, then decide if you are keeping or dropping the first five listed based on their description!
The Geek Feminist Revolution by Kameron Hurley
The title and even cover of this book just look awesome to me and there is no way I could even consider dropping this. It’s not a typical book for me which is even better. Putting it in my cart to buy next time I check out along with a couple books from yesterday.
Afterlife (Afterlife Saga #1) by Stephanie Hudson
So I don’t have kindle unlimited right now but this is free with that so I’m going to keep it on my TBR. Reviews are good and it sounds like a fun easy read.
Crown Duel (Crown & Court #1) by Sherwood Smith
I’ve heard that this author is right up there with Tamora Pierce, that sets some pretty high standards for me so I’ll be moving this closer to the top of my TBR.
She Who Remembers (Kwani #1) by Linda Lay Shuler
This is not a good week for me. Another book outside of my typical genres but it sounds great and people I follow on Goodreads have high reviews for it. Not top of my list but not falling off yet either.
So You Want to Be a Wizard (Young Wizards #1) by Diane Duane
So this week is a bust for me because I actually already own this book. I got it for $0.50 at Goodwill and look forward to reading it. It just sounds like fun.
Dropped: 0 Kept: 5
I’m so glad I love having a huge TBR, just shows how many amazing books there are to read 🙂
Scarred (King of Blades #1) by Angelo Tsanatelis
Oooh, Love the Moors! And magic! And dark fantasy! And… This sounds so good! I seriously have to finish my library books so I can get more! This is going on the buy pile! Keep
Clotho’s Loom by Shawn St. Jean
I want to read this book just to understand what it is about. It sounds interesting but seriously confusing for the most part… Though bouncing back an forth between a male and female perspective sounds pretty neat! Keep
The Well of Ascension (Mistborn #2) by Brandon Sanderson
This one is going to go simple because it is book two in a series and I have not read or heard of book one. Bye bye
Poison (The Poisoner Mysteries #1) by Sara Poole
Borgia’s for the win! I love this family! They are all nuts, bloody thirsty, power hungry, and care nothing for their fellow man. Get in their way and get dead. Couldn’t be happier with finding another book about this family! Keep
Sins of the House of Borgia by Sarah Bower
What’s this? Another Borgia book? And this one is about Cesare’s wife Violante! I just added like five more books about these coots while reading about this title… I love my historical fiction about blood thirsty individuals! Keep
Keep: 4 Cut: 1 Add: 6 that is just how Neko rolls!
So what does your TBR look like? Anything worth sharing?
