End of the Month Wrap-Up…

end-of-the-month-wrap-up

Hello book nerds!

End of Month 2 of this blog.  I can’t believe how the time is flying by this year! Today we are going to share the books we have read, our thoughts, and just an overall of how this month has gone!

Kylana: This month has been a wild ride for me. I’m so thankful I have Neko to blog with because the first half of the month was pretty smooth, reading a ton, easy to post but the second half of the month has been a lot crazier with work and other projects and balancing it all has been a bit of an adventure.  I’m also extremely thankful for the copy feature in wordpress so posts we do regularly I can just use the format of an old post and update it.

As for the reading, read 4 of the 7 books I assigned to myself this month, and in the middle of the 5th with my buddy read.  Only 5 of the books I actually wanted to be sure to read and the others were just books I was considering so I’m right on target.

Overall the month of February I read 22 books! I’ll list them below with  links to reviews if they have happened, if they haven’t they will shortly.

Total Books Read: 22

Genres: Contemporary, Nonfiction, Young Adult, Urban Fantasy

Neko:

So I read all but two of my proposed TBR but I blame Kayla for this because halfway or so through the month she got me into reading the Mercy Thompson Universe and I had to read the what, first seven books while still getting through my TBR. Oh well. I’ll just finish those two for next month along with all the books you won’t find on our blog ^_^

Library… I have nineteen books from the library that still need to be read, yes I have added a few times to that stack, but I did get through a handful of them! Now I just have a ton more to go! Yay goals!! Also once I am done with these books and March’s TBR I will be putting the all powerful Library on hold so I can get through the books I own physical copies of and my bloody kindle… I have over four hundred ebooks to read! Yikes!

Reviews! Now those I need to get seriously caught up on… I got a little too caught up in my alternate worlds and forgot to write about them… Ooops… I pledge to do a better job of balancing my time in March. Good thing pledges are not promises or this kitty would be in a world of trouble!!

Overall I am thrilled with how things went this month! And am glad that this is a team effort with Kayla; when life gets rough I have someone to fall back on!
